Help me pick my new small predator gun

Thanks...I'll check out Coyote Gods.

Forget about Coyote Gods. You'll find out very quickly over there that unless you're shooting a .17, you're a waste of their time. Predator Masters or Predator Hunt Canada are FAR better forums for gleaning information and getting some useful advice.

I have each of Remington, Tikka, and CZ in predator calibers (.223, .22-250 and .204). A left hand CZ 527 American (in .204) is the latest acquisition, so maybe its that 'new car smell', but I'm liking it so far.

keep in mind the current lead time on inletting for the new DM savages is 4 months at Richards Microfit.
not sure about boyds - i was under the impression they didnt inlet stocks for the DM Savages, much less the new style DM.

Your right about Coyote Gods.......all about the .17 with those boys, still, I really like the overall philosophy of the the main guy there. He's about harvesting and not blowing up Coyotes. (gawd I hope I didn't just open up a can of worms but..........)

I once posted a pic of a yote shot with a 87 grain Hollow point on COyoteGods

that was fun, it lasted about 2 hours before being locked and me being banned :D

Then there's Richards Micro fit and a ton more. Google will find them for you. I have a 116 in the factory flex stock that I use all the time in .223. I left it black but I may just paint it. It is beded at the action and I may bed the entire forestock both to make it more ridged and to keep water from collecting under the barrel at paint time. It is one handi little prick of a rifle that has the older style trigger just like the one on the new Stevens that I adjusted to go off safely at just under 2lbs. I some where in my piles of junk have a target with a three shot group that measures way down around the 1/8th mark using 52 AMax's and 27.5 gr 748. I brake chunks of clay birds at 300yrds off the bench at our range any day I wish with it and I used it take the noggin off a pheasant from a kneeling position at over a 100 and it has took the noggins off more than a few bunnys while out hunting varmints. The Big Burow in the sky has also been filled with the souls of many an unfortunate groundhawg haveing met "Little Dizzy" (previously owned by Dizzy Dan).
The Tika might be polished a bit more but I lay odds it aint gonna out shoot the Savage. Besides Tika sounds like a name for a puppy or something not a kill'n machine lol.
