That might be the first front rail i actually like the look of on an SKS, who makes it?

I'd be trying JB weld first. Or some other good epoxy.

Grind the front slot a little more so you can get the front sight lined up straight. Then epoxy it in place with JB Weld or something similar .

No need for a pin for the front sight. Its a tight fit on mine i just put it back with some red locktight its now Solid

I'd leave it the way it is. No need for the front sight if you're running the red dot.

put the front site back on and use red locktight. once its hard redrill the pin hole

Cut a new slot for the front sight such that your earlier mistake is hidden by the sight.
