Long time since I have posted anything on a forum, but alas I am at my wits end! I need a rear trigger guard screw and a magazine but I don't have any idea what for. Once upon a time many moons ago, my grandpa bought a 22. magnum. It was a fine rifle and very accurate and as the years went by the front sight hood disappeared... and the magazine... and the rear trigger guard screw... children where crying, crops failed, it was all awful. I have scoured the web and the forums, I think I have now seen just about every rimfire posted on gunnutz now. I have found two very similar firearms online, one being a 1962 Anschutz model 1516 here: http://www.gunauction.com/buy/10349716 and the other being a Savage-Anschutz 141 (22lr pictured) http://classicsportingguns.com/classic-rimfire-sporters-fs.html . note there are a few minor differences still, being the safety angle and bolt.
The only markings aside from the serial number are on the left side of the barrel reading Wischo - K.G. Erlangen Germany Cal .22 Magnum
So my hope is that maybe the Anschutz aficionados may be able to help me track down the missing parts for this rifle so we can get in the field again. Thanks for looking!

If pictures of another specific part of the gun would help let me know and I will post them!

I can't see you pictures until I can get to another computer, but Wischo is a German arms manufacturer and Erlangen is in Bavaria. Anschutz is located in Ulm, in nearby Baden-Württemberg.

Looks like a rifle manufactured by Voere Vohenbach for Wischo KG , which was a German fire arms distributer .

I'd second that thought...........need better pictures of the underside of the rifle......I'd say Krico but the mag release doesn't scream Krico

Thanks all, some good info, unfortunately I am still coming up dry on a mag and screw. I emailed Tradex for information and pictures but they have yet to reply. yodave here are some more pictures of the underside as requested.

Hope these help a bit.

The barrelled action of your rifle does not look like an Anschutz to me. I don't recognize a 64 or a 54 action and not the older Flobert action either. If I were in your position and needed answers on your rifle, I would go on rimfirecentral forum. Some of the guys there like Bob Smalser for instance know them all.

It is not an Anschutz Da Jimmer, I can guarantee you that.
if it s it would a Anschutz on the receiver.
The bolt is different, trigger group is different , everything is different from any of the Anschuts repeaters have ever used , bought and sold.
If it is, it would be a real new one on me.

Check if the Savage 93 22wmr mags can be made to work....they have that same shape and mag guide on the back of them.
