Help needed finding ACE AKFX stock, 8.5" with 0.5" pad. I am loosing my mind

I have spent many many months trying to track down the exact stock I want for my VZ58 rifle.

I have emailed every business name that I have read about here on Red Rifles that sold/imported AKFX stocks at one time or another. No luck.

I have contacted several US sellers and only one is willing to do an export but they add a $100 premium for the paperwork involved.

Has anyone on here found a source of the ACE AKFX stock in the past year? I know Fab had the 7.5" and 9.5" version but I was advised he could not get an 8.5" and possibly won't be getting any more.

This stock is the Holy Grail for my build.

Who has successfully purchased one of these stocks? Brownells? Canada source? US source?

I bought one a couple years ago off the EE with a WTB ad. It just wasn't quite what I wanted so I sold it to another member. They are out there so maybe a WTB ad could turn one up. Also, IIRC you can shorten them by removing the buttplate, shortening the tubes and reinstalling.

P.S. how many ppl do you have for wilderness/survival/shooting activities around GP?
 
Hey supernova I am trying an EE add, and note in my signature line. So far no luck. lol

As to the wilderness group it is slow going, met a few folks but personalities didn't really mesh. One of the members here and I have been out for some shooting and I think it will go well moving ahead. Good guy and like minded goals. Training minded too so that's pretty nice. You in GP?
 
Wembley, and I agree its tough finding like minded people around here! I might be interested in some new shooting buddies, haven't done much wilderness/survival since I was a kid but I'd like to get back into it. Sounds like DILLIGAF has your answer on the stocks.

On the survival side my background is in wilderness survival skills. Just getting into prepping, lots to learn there too.
 
Will do. Also, the export limit is now $500 so there shouldn't be any issues exporting the ace stocks even if they're over $100.

Fabsprot has a AKFX-SS 7.5 " listed on his site right now, i know it's not the 8.5 " but might worth a check.

Just by it and put in the comment section you want it shipped usps first class mail.

It will cost 30$ to ship because it wont fit in the 10.55 box
 
I love mine. Not sure on its exact specs, but a great addition to my shorty
