Looking to acquire a mosin sniper but debating between 2 rifles. Need help deciding.

One is a 44 izhevsk , force matched mount. Its a pu/svt40 scope dated 1942 and matches the rifle. Scope has NO-5 on it as well marked?? (i was assuming it was MO-5 as in Ministry of defense but the seller assures me it is not.)

Second is a 43 izhevsk, force matched mount. Its a un dated sickle and hammer with serial PU 91/30 scope. Serial matches the rifle so im guessing its not a repro despite no date?

Which one would be seen as more desirable?

Which one would be more original?

Which one looks to be the better buy?

Any help is appreciated from the vast pool of knowledge that is CGN's users.

I basically am buying to add to my ww2 collection of bolt actions and to shoot it at the range.

Thanks.

They both have wartime stocks witch is pretty cool, you can tell since the metal inserts in the sling holes are only on the bottom and there's no finger groove to push the rear barrel band off. The second scope is actually dated, the first 2 digits in the serial is the date so its a 43 dated scope ( i think). Either way its down to you, they are both equally original maybe not all matching but they are original. I'd probly go with the one with the nicer bore.
