Help picking out M1A scope mount please!!!

Hey so you guys with scoped M1As and M305s and such, what are you using for cheek risers?

Check out Bradley cheek rests, not too pricy, easy to remove and place on another rifle, no permanent mods required

I've seen that one, but I have a wood stock and have concerns about scratching.

I do too, my stock is actually protected with the unit installed, if pm me you email address I can send you all the photos you like. I can't see how it would be possible to scratch any stock with that rest even if you tried

Coyote M1A make nice strap on cheek risers in whatever height you want. I had one when I had my M14 in a USGI stock. It's in a mod-stock now so I just have a riser clipped onto the Magpul CTR stock (.75")

Yes it " should " work with an M305 unless the receiver is totally out of spec. But with all of norc's issues, their receiver's have always been pretty good if not the best part of their rifles. I have not heard of anyone having an issue with a Basset Mount on an M305. But I have actually read about out of spec M1A receiver's not jiving with Basset mounts.

Had a basset on my m305. Was a great mount. Would hold zero even after removed and reattached. Ingenious way of using the rifles own weight to achieve torque settings
