HELP PLEASE,cleaning beginning of rifling with a boreguide?

Hi Guys,
I use a bore guide and it seems to prevent me from cleaning the very beginning of the rifling when inserted.

How do you proceed then?

I would doubt that. That could only happen if the exterior outside diameter of the bore guide was smaller than your bore and somehow fitted inside the actual bore of your barrel.

What bore guide do you have? All of the ones I have have o-rings that seal in the chamber, and nothing small enough to fit in the bore.

Are you sure you're not confusing the chamber for the throat? I can't imagine a bore guide that extends all the way through the chamber and throat to cover part of the actual bore.
