Help Pls - What kind of shotgun is this?

Hi guys.
I have an "older" 16gu. exposed hammer, side by side shotgun. According to the old reg. card, it's make is "European" and the barrels are 700mm long but that's about all I know. The only discernible markings I can find on it are underneath the fore grip. The number 31891 W 16 is stamped under the barrels and the steel clip on the underside of the grip reads 31180 - 5.
Any of you know who made it, how old it is, or what its worth? Bit of a long shot, but its a start. Thanks very much fellas.

Here's how its done. If you post good pictures of the water table (The water table on a double barreled side by side shotgun is the flat part of the action, where the bottom of the barrels come down to meet. ) you will get some good responses from the shotgun gurus here. Cheers.
