Those look like great rifles. Obviously high grade stock wood on the one.
It's odd the way people claim how rare these Lakelander/Varberger/Konigsberg rotary mag rifles are, because whenever I mention the one I have, there always seems to be another person who has one (or two or three) as well, and I also see at least five or six for sale right now in Canada. So, apparently not so rare, at least not in Canada. Apparently rarer in the USA.
In my experience Canadians (at least in the west) have always been very fond of Scandinavian rifles. They seem to strike just the right balance between form and function for Canadian purposes. It may also have something to do with ethnic demography. There are a lot of Scandinavian-Canadians across Western Canada.(To me, Western Canada starts around Thunder Bay.)
