Help re-registering?

I just bought a Dlask 12.5" sporter barrel from Fabsports. I'm trying to register is with an under 470mm barrel. I phoned the CFC and got told there is no FRT# for a Ruger 10/22 rifle with a 12.5" barrel, only one for a 10/22 carbine . Does anyone have any helpful advice? The rifle was a target model with a heavy barrel if that matters.

There are FRT numbers for 10/22s with 12"/305mm barrels. Couldn't see one for 12.5"/318mm barrel.
Might be necessary to create a new FRT number. This shouldn't be a problem. Odd, though, that there isn't a FRT number for 12.5", when Dlask has been making the barrels.
Might help if you ask to speak with a tech, instead of the first data entry person who answers the phone.
