Help removing flash suppressor from AR

Hi
I have a mini moose and need to remove the muzzle brake/flash suppressor. I have tried removing it with a wrench but it didn't budge.

I think there is just a crush washer and maybe some loctite holding it on. Is this correct?

I was nervous to damage the finish the first time a tried. I used some green painters tape so I wouldn't damage anything. I used a longer box wrench and had to use a lot of force but it finally came loose.

The new flash suppressor looks great.
