My son handed me a Silverboy that had been disassembled in order to replace a broken lever. Anyone know of a video or a description of how to put this rifle back together? Manual says "Do not disassemble". Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Hey shotgun - Here's one I found on YT. Hope it's enough. Maybe someone will chime in with 'Helpful Hints' too?

Good luck,

I finally just took an enlarged exploded parts diagram with me to the kitchen table along with the bag if parts and the Silverboy receiver. I laid out all the pieces and started to assemble them. The only tricky part was to determine where the similar length but different strength springs went. The parts actually all fit nicely together and with the hammer down to keep everything together, they slide neatly into the receiver with the bolt installed first. This works great if you lay the rifle on it's back. You may need to push the bolt all the way tight to the barrel to get the lever cam piece to fit into the slot on the bolt.

I took it apart again to ensure nothing have moved or fallen out of place the first time. Reassembled it again and installed the screws with the help of a close fitting drift punch to help with the hole alignment and tested the rifle. Works flawlessly as it should!

I'll look into making a video of how it's done. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to disassemble it again for cleaning. It's no more difficult than my Browning BL-22.

Good on ya! Someone put it together in the first place, so it has to be capable of being re-assembled. Glad you figured it out.
