I have a gen2 ruger precision that i'm looking to get a cantilever mount for my 5-25x50 vortex viper pst gen2 to sit into. The current rings it has doesn't allow much room between the scope bell and the forend (factory m lok forend that doesn't have a rail up top).
I'm looking to order the Seekins precision flat bottomed handguard with the pic rail on top for my precision and I can already tell it won't clear the rail. I also find I have a hard time finding a comfortable cheek position on the factory rear stock even with it all the way down the eyepiece of the scope is too low.
Anyone have some suggestions on some cantilever systems that'll give me enough height to clear the rail on the seekins that's good quality but won't blow my wallet appart? Around $250 maybe?
