Help sako A2 ring choice

I picked a beautiful sako a2 and I have never got rings or bases for this type of system the front mount is wider then the rear... Any experience with quick detach would be helpful. I am just used to rem one piece base this is my first sako ever...

Leupold sako ringmounts
Or if you really luck out and find a set of the original Warne premier series for sako (discontinued for many years)

It came with original rings sako stamped but there one inch

Any optilock mounts work or is there specific ones for each sako type

You’re wanting to go 30mm?

The optilock ringmounts are not model specific. They come in blued or stainless, 1” or 30mm

The original sako rings are worth selling, some old school sako guys love them, and they command a decent dollar if in nice shape.

I’m gonna keep the sako rings I think they belong with this rifle the blue is exactly the same

I use the leupold ringmounts on a few Sako rifles, they work well and aren't bulky like the optiloc rings/bases. I do have 1 set of 30mm optiloc ringmounts on my .338wm. Solid rings with the poly inserts, but had to remove the recoil pin to get the scope mounted.
