Trying to get the trigger group out but cannot get the trigger guard pin out - I have tried both sides - by chance does it only drift out one way (towards the ejection port or towards the solid side of the receiver??).
The CIL 607 is actually a savage 67. The pin you're referring to , sometimes gets bent. If you can't knock it out with a punch you will probably have to drill it on both side until the trigger group can be pulled out.
Charlie, if you bust anything let me know, I've got a 170 trigger group here and I'm pretty sure most of the parts are interchangeable with the 67.
Missed you out on the Island last time but I think I had the wrong side of the road. I was looking at the older green camp across the road from where I think you were, no tracks there.
The only parts that are not interchangeable are the two types of safeties. One is a cross bolt and the other is a push safety on the top of the pistol grip that is attached to the trigger group. they require two different style buttstocks.
Never did get the *&%%$$ thing out after trying to drive it to the left- I assume its bent or rusted in as the owner didnt take good care of it - may have to drill out and replace as suggested.
Mad Dog - wrong side of the road - first house on left when you turn off the highway!
