The gun in question is a SBE2, approx. 2 years old and has at least 3,500 round through it. Anything from 2-2-3/4" to 3.5" turkey loads.
Today it started jamming with factory Winchester International AA target loads (1325fps). It jammed at every 2nd or 3rd sporting clay stand.
The gun is clean and properly oiled.
It is always properly shouldered.
It has a Nordic Components mag follower, TacOrd 3.5" carrier, TT bolt release button and a TT safety.

Here's what happens. I shoot the first round, and the round gets properly ejected. The second round gets properly dropped onto the carrier, but as the bolt travels forward, it catches onto something half way, failing to pick up the second round from the carrier. I can replicate the jam with snap caps. Any help would be appreciated.

I should also mention and if I slam the buttstock gently on the floor during the 'jam', the bolt releases and continues to travel forward, correctly picking up the second round, clambering it.

I haven't tried one myself but from what I read it's simple.just be careful not to deform the recoil spring tube when pounding out the roll pin. Also I'd give Stoeger canada a email and see if they would send you a recoil spring.

Roll pin? I thought once the butt stock is off, I just heat up (locktite) the (stock retaining nut) screw which holds the recoil spring in the spring tube.
What's the typical life cycle of the recoil spring anyways?

Figured it out.
It's the ammo - 24 gram Intarnational Target Loads are loaded with less than 7/8 oz of lead. I think the Benelli manual states not to use anything less than 1-1/8 oz of ammo. Not enough inertia to cycle the action. I'm surprised it worked approx 70% of the time.
It's the only ammo the gun won't cycle 100% of the time.
