Help select 5.56 semi under $2k

avoid them all, T97 gen 3 is the best bang for your buck, or you could try your luck with a gen 2 raven. smartest move would be to save your money and get a X95.
Not sure if anything changed between the gen2 and gen3. My gen1 is still rock solid with the T97.ca FTU. Had a friend with the gen2 flat top rail, and the rail kept coming loose and he would lose zero.

Both our rifles ate any ammo we put through them without issue though, including some of the cheapest steel core money can buy. Mine had issues when I first got it, but it turned out to be the mag it came with. After sending it back, and having it shipped back to me with a new mag, I've put thousands of rounds through it since. Zero problems. It's about as reliable as my Tavor21 I would say.

Ironically i had a tar21 that was incredibly unrelaible. For the money if i had to do it over again id take the t97
