Hi
I have a Winchester 94 30-30 that I want to sell but have little idea the value. It’s not in great shape, but I shot it today and it definitely goes bang. I have researched their value here on CGN and the internet in general and have found a big swing on price. If anyone with some good knowledge that could help I’d really appreciate it. I can send pics via email. I’m thinking on taking it up to the gun show in Markham this Sunday along with a Marlin 60 and shopping them around the tables. I’d like an idea of what to ask.
Thanks

Is the serial number above 2,700,000 or below? That tells us if it is pre 1964 munufacture or post. How long is the barrel? What kind of sights in it? How much finish is left on metal, shape of wood? Need some more description before pricing help.

Post some photos and the serial number. And take a look down the barrel.
Otherwise these guns as shooters usually start around the 300 mark, if post '64 models.

I have taken a bunch of pics and find it’s just easier to email them. If you PM me I’ll send them. The metal finish is not great, the barrel is good, the sights are goofy looking and the serial number is 4502911(the last 1 looks more like an “L”) bad stamp I guess. I’m guessing late 70’s or early 80’s.

Sounds like a $400 gun unless something is wrong with it. I can't say I've seen many on the EE for less than $400 regardless of the shape of the finish (again assuming nothing was broken or missing or bubba'd)
