ok so my new NP22 shoots just a tad to the right. So I try to adjust the rear site....no go. Front site either. I put the slide in a padded vice and bet the hell out of them but nigher will budge. Anyone got and tips to this? I'd rather not damage my slide.

Find someone with a Sig sight pusher? ...ie the fitted clamp, push device.

Or take the risk of trying to tap it.

Dlask used a hammer and drift on mine, I just could not bring myself to whack that hard.

What I did with mine is use a file to widen the rear sight, just a little bit, to force me to shift the gun a fit to centre the front sight. Works fine for small adjustments.

But I've also seen Rodger (DARK) putting on a replacement rear sight on one of the slides, and yeah, you just hammer it in. I'm sure you can use a punch and a hammer, and keep tapping until it moves a bit. It's just a dovetail, I don't believe there is anothing locking it in place beyond the pressure.
