HELP ! sks gone wrong...

Hi !

I went to the range this morning to shoot a couple of clips and everyting was fine until.... i don't know when. But the sks would not hold the action back after the last shot. first thing i cheked was the mag floor plate and it was well cliped in it's place. The second thing i realise, it's that i can put more then 5 rounds in the mag using stripper clips !!!!

What as gone wrong ????

I'd start by not advertising that

Your mag is broken on the pin spot weld. You need to purchase a new mag or repair the damage done to the round limiter pin located on the bottom of the mag well. If you want you can send me your mag and I'll send you mine if it's to much trouble for ya to fix.

you bent the floor plate arm.. bend it back and it will push the bolt lock tab up high enough to hold the bolt on last shot. then it will only hold 5 again.

Yup, mag floor plate pushed on the tab which keeps the bolt open. Try to load your stripper to clips to 5, that way you won't bend anything.

then i just have to bend back the florr plate and the situation sould be ok !
