Hello all.
Just looking for a little help here.
I have an older Savage 110, 30.06, long action, heavy barrel with accutrigger, internal mag and super skinny stock.
I've been thinking of getting a Remington 700 like everyone else I shoot with, but budget is an issue.
Any opinions on a better stock for my Savage?
Not planning on bench rest shooting, just using a bipod.
Thanks.

The Boyds Pro Varmint stock with the adjustable cheek piece option would be a great upgrade and still be very budget friendly.

There are the usual high dollar options like Mcmillan, Manners, etc for traditional style stocks. All will be in $1000 range.

There's also a whole bunch of chassis options out there as well. Two Canadian options would be the MDT and Cadex, both awesome chassis with Cadex being quite a bit more expensive. Lots of american options as well like XLR, KRG, Mcree, etc but they will cost an extra 30% right now with are dollar where it is.
