Basically, I possibly have the chance to acquire the below 3 rifles but know absolutely nothing about them.

Google has provided me some limited info on the first one, but not much on the next two.

Any help on make, model, year, trivia, misc. info, etc would be greatly appreciated! Also, if anyone knows value, that would be great too!

1 - lever action, marked "SAV. 303"

I know they are terrible pics. As I dont actually have these in my possession yet, best I can do for now. Can try and get better pictures soon.

Thanks for any help in advance!

The first one looks like a Savage model 99 lever action, the second is a No 1 Mark III lee enfield from ishapore made in 1938, not sure about the third, the expert should be here soon and can probably tell you a lot more about them.

Where you are matters. Add it to your profile.
The Savage is a Model 99 chambered in .303 Savage. Actually a .308 calibre. It was Savage's answer to the .30-30 and has the same usage. Deer and bear sized game. Brass and ammo exist, but isn't easy to find. Hornady loads it. Looks like a .30-30 with a long neck.
The Ishapore is a bubba'd 1938, Indian made, No. 1 Mk III. Typical of a lot of sporterized Lee-Enfields. Check the headspace. The G.R.I. means George Rex Imperium.
The last one is either a Pattern 13 or Pattern 17 Rifle. Heavily raped by Bubba. First is .303 British, the second .30-06. Both made Stateside for W.W. I. Quickest, easiest, way to detrmine which is to slug the barrel. Hammer a cast .30 calibre bullet or suitably sized lead fishing sinker through the barrel, from the breech end, with a 1/4" brass rod and a plastic mallet then measure the bullet/sinker with a micrometer. A .303 will be .311", an '06 will be .308" diameter. I'd guess it's a Pattern 13 due to the Brit proof marks.
Of the three, the Savage is the one to clean up and restore. The others aren't worth much in their condition and will cost a pile to restore.

The third is either a p-14 Enfield in 303 British or a m1917 Enfield in 30-06. World war 1 army rifles. Calibre might be marked on the barrel.

Not sure on the Savage 99, as I don't collect them.

However, the No1. MkIII and the Pattern 14 (or possibly M1917, depending on if it's .30-06 or not), go for about $150 each, depending on condition. Maybe $200 if that Winchester winds up being an M1917 and is in good shape.

We need some more pics to judge. Bore pics would be good, as for full length ones as well. Does the P-14/M1917 have the bolt? Or was it just missing from the pictures?

I knew this was the place to ask! Thanks for the quick responses and info...

I am definitely going to get more (better) pics up here as soon as I can. As for the bolt, the owner stated he had it but needed to find it.

The lever is actually not in bad shape, I will hopefully be able to post some clear pics soon.

Definitely good info to further my own research as well!

Edit: I'm in the GTA, but not sure how that helps since the rifles aren't right now ....

And the Savage is a take-down model which ups the value somewhat, if the threads are not worn out.
