The top one is 200 gr Winchester factory ammo. I bought some of the other two from an old-timer who couldn't remember what they are.

I was thinking that the one on the left is 220 or 250 gr but the one on the right has me completely stumped.

I measured all the unkown ammo and it is factory or very well made because it all calipers correct.

I'm sure one of you .348 fans can help me out.

Weigh them and compare to the known 200gr round. That will give you the bullet weight +/- about 10 grs.

I'm assuming the head stamp is Winchester? At first I thought it might be a reload using the 200gr Hornady but the bullet doesn't look quite correct for that.

Sent you a PM concerning the 348 Winchester.

Its hard to tell from a picture but it could be a 150 grain bullet.Winchester loaded 150 grain .348 bullets at one time.I assume all three are Winchester marked cases and are factory loaded. To the best of my knowledge all Winchester manufactured .348 bullets were silvertip.

Winchester up until 1962 loaded 150, 200, and 250 grain Silvertip ammunition. After 1962, the 150 grain and 250 grain offerings were dropped. Remington/Peters was the only other manufacturer to offer factory ammo for the 348 WCF (150 and 200 grain).

The round on the lower right could be an example of the early 200 grain Winchester (not Silvertip) factory round - google Jim Taylor's article on the 348 WCF which also shows some of the bullets offered.

Barnes currently makes a Barnes Original in 220 and 250 grain, used to make a copper X-bullet in 200 and 220 grain, but these were discontinued a couple years ago.
