I have a Nikon prostaff 5 2.5-10x40, nikoplex, it's fine but I like the reticle on the vortex better. I skipped the bdc on the Nikon because just didn't like the reticle and if I was buying now I'd go vortex as put one on my .223 recently and love it.

i feel the same about the reticle. i think i will go with vortex because of reticle.

With that much mag and those features my concern is that the Vortex won’t be as clear st high mag and clicks might not be uniform on the target. Getting something for not much is usually a sign it has issues.

Third that! Lol!!! Got a vx 2 6-18x40 AO and it’s very nice. I’ve owned a few vx3’s too.

The new FFP nikon scopes with the zero stop are good value but for 200m a 1-8 or 3-9 are more than adequate.

the indoor club i go only has a 50 yards range. will 6-24 too powerful ?
