I hope these videos will lessen the anxiety and fear some might have being completely new to the process of obtaining your PAL/RPAL.

In this short series of videos from Silvercores Online Firearms Safety Course, they will demonstrate unload and clear(P.R.O.V.E) nine typical firearm actions, according to the Canadian Firearms Safety Course.

Trigger finger must be kept off the trigger and out of the trigger guard.
See that the firearm is unloaded - PROVE it safe.

PROVE

Once again THANKS ! My grand daughter is signed up for a course in Nov. & I will be sharing this with her . (although I have tried to teach her !)

Bc I sure hope it helps considering I had never owned a FA/Access or mentoring and having the 1A thing going on, :)

These videos helped me tremendously prior to my course, I then needed to apply it on the FA's.

I suggest you setup "Grandpa's Firearm Safety Course" "3-4 week" course have your granddaughter watch the videos "on her own" set date exam 1 week later. Evaluate/Correct/Reward/Repeat/Have "Fun" :)

Use as many FA's that you have for the exam as they relate to videos, the ones you don't watch with her again. :)

If you can get a copy of the "Canadian Firearms Program Book" (CFSC/CRFSC) it will give your Granddaughter valuable knowledge that is n parts of the exam.

All of the Thanks goes to Organizations like Silver Core and Other's in the FA Community including people like Yourself educating and passing on a Skill, History, Heritage, Right.

Good luck to your Granddaughter and Yourself, I'll be cheering 4 you.

P.S. "Patience is the Ballast of the Soul" :)

Here is another excellent Silvercore video

Been there done that with her , she's been shooting for a number of years . Lucky in the fact that I have a 12.6 and she's been to the range many times with me using a verity of firearms . It will be a good refresher for her with someone else's view .
