Something is wrong with my TOZ 99 Carbine.
I want to remove the bolt.
To do this you push in the plunger on the back of the receiver
and drift the small pin out. Then the bolt assembly and springs
slide out.

I can't push the plunger in! It is jammed flush with the back.
However the push pin moves from side to side, but won't slide through.

If you have your manual, the Plunger is item 15 and the pin that goes through it is item 69.

Does the pin have grooves I have to line up? Why the hell won't the plunger
move forward a fraction so I can get the pin out?

Any ideas, guys? Thanks.

Been there. Check the spring (part 1) that fits through the pin that sticks out of the plunger (part 14), it has a tendency to not alingn properly, like all unsupported springs. The trick that I found is to hold the charging handle(5) back with your finger slightly and progressively push the "plunger" into position until you're sure that everything lines up (the assemblies consisting of parts 11-12-13 don't always line up in their grooves in part 15), then, ease the whole bolt/recoil assembly in slowly, by keeping the pressure on the charging handle constant so things remain at the same pressure, overpush the plunger slightly, it'll make the cross pin (69) easyer to install, once the pin is in, slowly release the pressure on the charging handle, you're done. The problem with mine is the back stock screw(39) that sticks in the receiver by about half a millimeter, I have to back it out about a half turn to insert the rifles innards, otherwise the firing pin catches on it, then re-tighten after the rifle is back together.

Thank you Rob.

I understand what you are telling me.

Do you have any idea how to loosen it now that it is jammed? I need to slacken things off and start over.

It seems to me the plunger is all the way forward and needs to come back a hair.
