Hello CGN community. I could really use some help with a couple of issues regarding my VZ58.
My first issue is removing and transferring the buffer spring from one dust cover to another. I had just purchased a dustcover with rail attachment on it, however, I did not realize that it did not come with the buffer spring attached. I took a look at my current buffer spring and see that there is a cap keeping the spring in place and that there with a wire that keeps it cap itself in place. Has anyone ever removed or replaced this buffer spring? Are there any tools and and methods you could recommend? I couldn't find any good videos showing how this is done. If there is a gunsmith in southern ON that anyone could recommend, I'm open to that option as well.

Second Issue I have is that when I purchased this rifle it was second hand. The previous owned had put in set screws in the side mounting threads. I was able to get out one but the second was pretty much super glued in. I eventually snapped a tip and tried to ream out the bit to extract but no such luck. Is there any gun smiths in southern Ontario that someone could recommend that may be able to bore and re-thread the side mount screw port. See images below.

Thank you all for your time to read this and I would appreciate any suggestions you may have! Cheers
