Looking to round out my fun collection and adding a 7.62 or 5.56.

Would you rather buy:

Lockhart Platinum 7.62x39 (or 5.56 Version)
https://www.lockharttactical.com/ri...s-modular-semi-automatic-rifle-non-restricted

WK-180-C 5.56

BCL SRV2 5.56
https://truenortharms.com/black-cre...-5-56-nato-223-18-6-bbl-non-restricted-black/

WS-MCR 5.56 (Can't find anything in stock)
https://wolverinesupplies.com/shop/rifles/rifles/spectre-ltd-ws-mcr-sa-5-56-nato-18-7-475mm-dm-black

Or others??

I have coming soon a Tavor 7 .308, and lower than that I have a GSG-16 .22. So looking for something between.

I'm partial towards the Lockhart due to the Northern Lights color option, but the WS-MCR seems to be the best quality for the price (LMK if I am wrong). But I dont have experience with the quality of any of these rifles. I want something trouble free and of quality.

I dont know why I want something in the 7.62 or 5.56, but I do :)

5.56 for recoil, ammo price, ammo availabiity. Downside is prob both will be "on the next list" if you buy semi. I'm going bolt for both. Ruger ranch x39 & American. - both sub MOA.

Probably 556, whatever you like in your list. I don't know about recoil for the Tavor 7 but 556 is very tame and still very loud and accurate out to 400/500m. The only 308 I really liked is banned now, I have bolt action 308's and they kick like a mule.

You will probably see yourself shooting the 556 more than the others.

Grabbed a Lockhart 556. Thanks for everyone's replies. Found the AMMO is reasonable and lots of customizing.

Hopefully the Bolt Carrier Issue gets resolved, and I can setup the gas system without issue. Sounds like a tinkering gun, but that'll be half the fun (and headache) lol

If you are unsure what you want, get the 556.
Many can shoot 762x51, but few can master it.

I am new and just learning. Trying a bit of everything to see what I like best. Thanks for your reply. Went with a 5.56, as I have a .308 already so should be a more enjoyable load for volume shooting targets.
