Hey guys, I will make this simple

My winchester 2200 12 gauge's Pump handle comes back on its own when the gun is fired. Forceably. It kinda did it with full choke and bird shot but you could hold it. Today with a xxfull choke and a turkey load it shot strait back with the pump sliding out of my hand.

Anyone had this where the pump came back on its own? Suggestions? What needs to be fixed?

Thanks guys

Ps. Happy turkey season

This is the way thy work.you will notice it more when shooting from a bench with real heavy loads . nothing to worry about. Thy have the nick name (speed pump). DUTCH

It's supposed to do it that why it's called the speed pump!

3" magnum loads can shuck that thing all the way back on its own!

Yes that's the way they work.Had one once a long time ago.Did not like that feature one bit and got rid of it ASAP.

It doesn't come back any faster or harder than you would pump any other pump gun. It's designed to do it it doesn't wear anything.
