Hello all

I needed some help with one of my Beretta s687 o/u. i originaly bought it off a friend of mine who's father brought it back from italy. i found it unique because it has dual triggers. i have been trying to find out more info on this gun but i can't even find a picture of the same gun anywhere online. would any of you know any info on this or point me in the right direction on were i can find out info like the year it was made?

thanks in advance
Danny:)

It is just an older hunting gun. They all used to have dual triggers. Since it was made for the Italian market, they probably had dual triggers. It still was made after 1980, which is when the 680 series guns came out. There is a 2 alpha code on the barrel, which dates the year of manufacture of the barrel. Here is a link you may find of interest.

I have just come across this listing in the UK that was posted today. Gives you a rough idea and of course it depends on condition of your gun and features. We need to really see pics and know more about it. The price shown is also asking price. Who knows what it will sell for and that is in the UK. Notice how it also says double trigger conversion. It is possible that your gun was converted to double triggers explaining why you can't find any the same.

Okay thanks. I knew this was the best place to ask.

So i cant upload the pic now but quick run down of the gun.
28" barrel no chokes great bores
standard grade beretta wood some marks from field use
Scroll engraving on receiver
Gun has a low round count and other than the light scuffs it is in great shape

I dont think it has a dual trigger conversion but dont know for sure (comparing to my other 687 with single trigger)

if I can I will upload pics tonight.

No--he will not get UK prices. But I still think this is a conversion from single to dual triggers. I only came across one other dual trigger and it was also a conversion. I think maybe Beretta might have even converted them upon request but I could be wrong.
