Help with a price for Steyr carbine

Looking to buy a Steyr Mannlicher carbine .
How much is a range price for a conversion S marked ,all matching with forced matched stock with a decent bore?
Please advise.

$200-$300? They're good guns, but frankly no one shoots them because of ammo. The 8mm mauser conversions are worth more provided their extractor is still there.

I paid about $145 + tax for one from Tradeex last year... That was an unusually low price from what I understand, but I can't see asking much more than $200 for one of these. Ammunition is out of reach for the average buyer (won't work without the chargers either) and Austrian gear just doesn't command the premiums that German, American and Commonwealth stuff does. Even French gear is usually worth quite a bit less than other equivalent Allied gear.

I hear its a flame thrower, more so than m44/38. However reloading is a must for them as with any western surplus rifle.

I thought I was average, I just went into a Prvi stocking dealer and bought it there. Not to mention, I still see the old Century imported stuff from time to time. The clips can be had off ebay, not cheap IMHO, but since they will last a life time....

if its a true carbine $350 max. if its a cut down rifle carbine then $225? max.

I payed $220 shipped for mine, came with 2 boxes of Nazi marked ammo on the clips.
