Bought a used 5.10 scale on the forums. Trying to zero it, and find I will probably need to add weight to the pan. However that is least of my issues. The bigger problem is with the 10th/grain poise. It doesn't line up with the vertical index mark when it is set to O. I have to rotate the poise to appoximately 3 to get the vertical index mark to line up. Is there any way to resolve this.

Thanks

How is that tin plate attached? Just glued? I will try and dig mine out of the reloading cupboard later tonight and have a peek at mine. Mine matches my RCBS check weight set.

The holder where the pan is sitting on has a screw in it.
If you remove it you can add weight (lead shot for instance) in the bottom.

I was poking around at the graduated plate above the poise - and it just popped off - old dried up glue under it. So the fix seems relative easy - clean it up and glue it back on so that it lines up with the zero. Then add weight to the pan if I need to.

Thanks

if you only use the same scale, I don't see the issue. the calibration on the scales are probably greater than 1/10 grain. as long as the scale is consistent, your load accuracy will not be effected. if that triggers your OCD, contact manufacture?
