Which one of these is your choice for black bear and moose in a .308 using a 180gr ?

1. Accubond

2. Interbond

3. Scirocco

4. other

of the choices, I'd go 180gr Scirocco since it will open up wider than an Accubond

if it was me I'd go Barnes 150gr TTSX

I wouldn't spend the extra on a bonded bullet in 180gr for a 308. A plain old cup and core bullet will work just fine, and cost about half the price. I would go with a 165 accubond or 150ttsx. If your rifle likes 180's the best then I would buy some plain old cup and core bullets like a hornady SP.

find one that groups tight my win mod 88 308 best groups with pretty much any 150gr ive tried many heavier grain with poor results some were like shooting slugs from an unrifled barrel at 100 yds good luck

Heya 300grains
As you have already seen, the "other" is quite ahead of the listed choices.
A 165gr Barnes TSX would be my pick.
Good luck this season.

I have to agree with most here. Something in the 150 to 165 range would be best. Again barns would be the best choice. Scirocco are a nice bullet from what I have been told. But in the end barns wins with me. I have had too many jacket and cores separate for me to like much with lead in in anymore.

What about Barnes 180 grains TTSX ? Will it open at 308 velocity. My shooting distances will not be long, maybe 100-150 yards maximum.
