Hi folks.
Does someone have a close up picture or have first hand experience on how the bayonet lug is attached to the barrel of the Colt Canada C8A4 that was never produced? From what I can gather from pictures the barrel is slightly turned down for the bayo lug to slide on and rest up against. Not sure if it is a refit piece or a manufactured fit for purpose part. The bayonet in the photos is nice enough to hide it.
I am in the process of trying to make one for myself and this is the missing link to getting it completed.
