Help with Crud Ring

What kind of lube are you using. I have heard that Triple 7, in particular, forms the crud ring when soft BP-type lubes are used with it. It apparently much prefers smokeless-type lubes ....

Its prolly more the primers, I have tried the rem clean bores and it was reduced greatly, but for the traditions pursuit like I have found them a tad short to seal up as nice as the Winchesters I am using. So I have been cleaning every shot. And using the 777 and the win 209 primers.

After each shot, without taking the breech plug out,

I run a brush though the barrel and give a little more attention to where the bullet is seated, then run a spit patch then a dry patch.

It may seem like a pain in the ass but all my shots are way more consistent and my bullets are always seated in the exact same spot. it really doesnt talk that long either. I don't have any problems seating my bullet.

I also find that runing a patch with a small amont of bore butter then a dry patch helps both with loading and protecting your barrel.
