Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a used 12Ga SxS from Tradex... I've heard great things about their service and the guns they sell...

But I'm somewhat unfamiliar with the European gun makers and the quality of the guns. I hear that many European makers produce great guns... but some are not so great...

I'm looking between Baikal, AYA, FEG, and Laurona...

Can you guys chime in with comments on the quality of each of these makes, and maybe even suggest which one of these you'd get and why.

Thanks for the help

EB

Go with the AYA, or even a Thullmann ( Suhl made) shotgun.
Even the lower level AYA's are good guns as far as mechanics and fit go.
The Suhl made shotguns are very well put together aosl.
I would stay away fro the Baikal , but the FEG's Ive seen are okay.....

I think Anthony still has a few of the hammerless Husqvarna's for sale. Externally they are very plain Jane. Internally they are of very high quality and far superior to the Thulman's and the AYA's. Personally I would stay away from the FEG.s. JMHO

Thanks for the info so far...

I've been reading positive things about Baikal, Laurona, and AYA...

The gun will mainly be used for informal clay shooting... mainly for fun... so all I need is a good, reliable gun that I won't need to worry about...

Keep the comments coming... the info is great.

I just bought a husky 1310 from Anthony. It is top notch quality mechanically and very nice cosmetically. Hard to go wrong with husky. I did some research before I bought . Laurona or aya were my second choices. Feg,not so good imho
