Hi all, I'm back with 3 great looking milsurps from my girlfriend's father estate. these are very much out of my wheelhouse, and I'm looking for more information about them, and approximate values. I've done some research, but imagine I will get far better, more specific info from knowledgable members in this forum. anything you can provide is appreciated.

all have great looking bores and likely have not been fired since coming into Canada. I have no real experience with old military rifles, but overall condition on all of them looks really good to me. they are all very cool rifles and I will be keeping at least one of them. here they are.

I believe the top rifle is a Carcano carbine. here are more pictures

and the bottom rifle, is an AG42-B, I believe. we have not found the magazine yet, but I'm hopeful it will be in a drawer somewhere... we have already found other magazines scattered around. there is a cleaning kit with it.

Middle rifle is a Swedish M96 Mauser. Looks like the stock has been sanded which affects the value perhaps around $600

Bottom rifle is a Ljungman AG-42B perhaps about $800

Both in 6.5x55 mm

Top rifle is a Mannlicher-Carcano Model 38 TS (Truppi Speziali).
Takes 6.5x52 Carcano ammunition in a 6-round drop-out clip.
Nice little rifles.
Noisy but they will do the job.
Rear sight is zeroed around 300 yards.
More than adequate to give Bambi a very rough day.
Light, handy and quick to get into action.
I believe a no-drill scope mount is available.

The carcano is actually an m38 short rifle rather than a Ts. It takes its own bayonet not a standard m91 bayonet like the TS and is a bit longer. Last I checked the m38 short rifle bayonets are actually worth more than the rifle if it’s the folding version. You’ll see a cut on the bottom of the fore end that the folded bayonet rests in. Serial number and cartouche still present on the stock?
