Just got a Savage 111 long range hunter rifle. Bought a set of 2 piece Leupold bases and they seemed a little odd. Does anyone know or have this same rifle and which one of the Leupold bases fit.
I suspect the base screws are a tad long and interfering with the bolt.
Take the bolt out, re-install your bases and see how they fit.
Then have a gander inside the bolt channel to see if the screws are
poking though.
