Help with no 1 mk 3 star.

Will a regular no 3 mk 1 stock work on this? I know this model didn't the have the volley sights. I would appreciate any expert input before i order the pieces.

Yes, the furniture for a No. 1 Mk III will fit a No. 1 MK III*. The forestock will be a little low on the right side of the receiver if it is cut for a magazine cutoff. None of the NOS forestocks I have seen had provision for a cutoff. The NOS forestocks one occasionally sees that are cut for volley sights are not correct. I suspect they are modifications done by or for Numrich and they are too slim in the area behind the mid band.

Thank you, have you ever had any experience with the prestigious gunstocks? Im looking at the full stock set.

I have no experience with any of the reproduction wood for Lee Enfields.

I've seen a few of their stocks and they're very nice. May require a bit of fitting in the ways. Be careful not to remove to much wood. It doesn't hurt accuracy if the receiver fits tight.

Im thinking of having a gunsmith do the final fit up, at this point i would like to make sure its done right.
