Okay, since I can't figure out how to post a pic from my computer, I will have to talk this out.
in the "Real Women with Real Camo/Guns" thread is an IDF soldier carrying a packboard. This is the best pic I have ever seen of this equipment, and yes, i do study the pics enough to notice the equipment. I'm a details AND big picture kind of guy.
I have seen poor images of this item before; usually strapped to the sides of IDF APCs in grain photos in Osprey books or being used to carry stretchers.
It LOOKs like a metal version of the US WWII Packboard, and I have seen it described as such, but never seen any good images of it.
I would love some solid and info and pics on this thing as all kinds of Load Bearing Equipment are of interest to me.
