Hey guys, as it states in the title I would like to replace the factory sights on my Beretta 92a1 with a set of night sights.
Is this a task that can be accomplished fairly easily with a brass or polymer punch?
I have been looking for videos in the usual places but can’t really find much especially for the front sight.
I’m am willing to purchase a sight tool for this project but all the ones I have been looking at online are for the rear sight only or a “universal” unit that can’t say whether it will work on the 92 slide. (Most also have horrible reviews as well)
I prefer to do as much work on my own firearms as possible but I will defer this to a gunsmith and wait the wait as a last resort.
Any advice or tips from others who have done this swap already or recommendations for a sight pusher that you know works would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Really nobody? Well that is a first on here for me. I guess I need to reply to my own post.
There is so little info out there on this and now I’ve learned that Beretta has used both BE12 and BE13 sized sights seeming at random and using the wrong set will cause the gun to print 8” under POA at 25yards!?? Is there a way to know which one I need? All I want to do is buy some night sights and put them on my Beretta project it shouldn’t be this hard.
Hopefully one of our Beretta pistol experts will see this and help a brother out.
Thanks in advance.

Ah yes I believe recommended previously I really like the way they look though I have not had any experience with that type of sight before. I see they are available from a few site sponsors I am probably gonna give them a try.
Thanks.

I think you generally need a sight pusher for Beretta. My PX4 sights were a nightmare and required a huge amount of force on a PX4 specific sight pusher.
