I have a Savage Model 112 I am planning on listing for sale.
It has the single shot receiver with a really heavy Douglas match barrel. The calibre is .22-250 Ackley Improved, and the rifle hasn't been fired much since being rechambered.
The rifle started out as a .22-250 single shot varmint rifle in a nice walnut stock (factory circa 1989 or so) with the large palm swell. It has had the trigger re-built to smooth out the pull, and has had several pins ground to replace the stock stuff. It breaks really cleanly, and is very similar in feel to the new accu-trigger. My father in law has the rifle rebarreleld using a Douglas Heavy blank in .22 BR. He shot it for a couple of years, and then sold it to me.
I had it rechambered in .22-250 ackley improved using a brand new chamber reamer. I had fireformed a few cases, but didn't do anything else with it. It hasn't fired a shot in 8 years
I have 5-6 boxes of Federal .22-250 ammunition to fireform, and a new set of RCBS dies for the rifle. It has a set of Weaver bases on it currently, and a Tasco World Class 6-24 AO Japanese built varmint scope in Millet Rings. The rifle looks like new.
What would be a good starting point to sell the rifle at, as I really don't want to load for it?
