I posted an add trying to find someone to swap a Henry Mini bolt for my as new 18 year old 10/22 so far Ive had a few guys come forward and ask to buy the 10/22 but nobody with a Henry to swap:mad:.
I just don't know how much this is worth, because its in new condition with the maple stock and no barrel band...I found a Henry for $300 new, and the new partially plastic 10/22's are just under $300 + tax, so is $300 too much to ask for it?

Mine looks like this:

The new ones look like this:

Its had under 20 rounds thru it and looks as good as the day I bought it from Labarons 18 or so years ago... There is one person selling a beatup used one like mine for $600 on the EE, but the EE has been known for questionable selling practices; so its hardly a guide for me to use since I need to sleep at night.:kickInTheNuts:

any input would be appreciated.

Your gun is worth the $300 you ask. A lot depends on the shape it is in. Some people think their guns are worth gold as it seems "everyone" in their minds at least, wants a 10/22. The gun is really only worth what a person is willing to pay for it. Not many 10/22s in the EEs are stock factory units. They certainly seem to need a bull barrel, trigger, extractors etc. to make them shoot.

As a trade, the difficulty is mainly the age of your gun. The gun you want to trade for is about the same value as a new 10/22...but it comes down to age and condition. Even if your gun looks as you say "like new"...it still is a 20 year old gun.

I disagree with WT. Your model is a dsp model with walnut stock, no barrel band, and no crappy plastic butt plate. The model is discontinued and you should be able to get around 400 to 450 for it. I know thats a lot more than you paid for it but the dsp models are sought after and that alone raises the price.

Hmmmmm $300 seems OK in this market.
Henry Mini bolt for a 10/22 seems like it'd be fair.
Might just not be a lot of people with extra mini bolts because they bought them for their kid(s) like you plan to. I can see people not wanting to get rid of them.

Thanks for your help guys, One of our members purchased it as a gift, and pointed me in the right direction for the best deal on a minibolt...so now I'm off to send my order thru. I don't want to disclose who it is cause it may ruin his surprise; but thanks for everyone's input...is anyone interested on a mini-bolt review when I get the boy out shooting it?
