Help with Timney Trigger

Hello all,

So I've recently installed a timney trigger in my Remington 700, this is the first one i've owned or even seen so I'm not sure if it's working properly cause I am having to cycle the safety on before every shot? Here is the issue i'm having:

Safety on - load gun and chamber round
Fire round - trigger works fine and operates as it should
chamber next round - safety is still off from previous round, bolt will not cycle and is "locked" down
move lever to safe - bolt will cycle freely and chamber next round

I have to repeat this for every shot fired. Anyone had the same issue or have any ideas, I have looked at it and can't see anything wrong with what I know. Appreciate any info/ help
 
not sure I understand your issue, but most issues I have seen with them is contact with the stock.

lift your action out of the stock and try again. if your problem only appear when its bolted in, just do some inletting with the proper tooling for tour stock materiel.

make sure your safety lever travel freely with no interference with the stock.
 
Ok Dero I will try that, the action is in a Tac 21 chassis so I;m pretty sure it's not hitting anything there but will have a better look. Thanks for the reply
