Im pretty lucky that here at work we have a number of deer both does and bucks. What's even better is that no one here bother's them nor feeds them.
It's really helped to better understand deer behaviours seeing the types of spots they choose to lie down, how they act in certain weather, etc.
I've been debating on asking the boss here that if I buy a game cam, to see if I can set it up on the spot where they usually lie down or one of the many trails they have.
Some might have remembered me mentioning about the doe with twins and how one of the twins had a very nasty limp. Well both fawns are much bigger now and sadly the one still has the limp although not as bad.
There was a total of three fawns this year and I know two for sure are still here (the twins). Haven't seen the other doe and fawn recently. There were two bucks hanging around for the past couple months but they seem to be gone now. One 2 point and one 4 point.
Why am I writing this? Because it's 11:45pm, Im bored as hell, and the deer are only about 20 feet from me eating.
