Henry 17hmr lever action

Does anyone have any experience with Henry's 17 hmr levers? From there website I see they have two different models, a varmit express and the frontier. Anyone own one or shoot one? Appreciate any thoughts or opinions.

I have the Henry golden boy 17hmr. The lever action is so smooth and it's very accurate.

There are three models... Varmint, Frontier and Golden Boy. I prefer the Frontier stock profile and weight. It is a very nice gun.

I just bought a varmint a week ago .
With the exception of the plastic band , its a really nice rifle . Super accurate , solidly built and not a hitch in the first 100 rounds . I had to drill to mount a sling swivel which sucks as I think all rifles should come with that out of the box , but it's a great little gun now that I've got it slung . Just want to scope it before gopher season and I'm ready .

I also have the frontier, have not fired it, but love looking at it and handling it....... Yes I am that guy...

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone know of a dealer with a 17hmr frontier in stock? I've tried a few without any luck so far.

Did you try the Gun Dealer? Give Oromocto Canadian Tire a shout. Maybe. Got my H001 there, 22lr though.

Tried the canadian tire, they didn't have any and no longer do special orders. Haven't tried the gun dealer, they weren't overly friendly or helpful last time I was there.
