I love lever action rifles, and I'm considering the Henry Varmint Express in .17HMR. A guy at Wholesale Sports told me a horror story about the cantilever scope mount on the rifle, and that scoped - it can't hold zero. I don't see the point of an unscoped rifle in .17HMR (with an open sight I'd just get one in .22LR).
Probably going to sell my Ruger 77/17 to buy this one, so I want some opinions on the gun.
I'm just wondering if anyone has one, and can tell me about the accuracy, and what they think of the scope mount.
