henry 22 red dot options?

I have searched and found nothing helpful. I am wanting to mount a red dot forward of the receiver on my henry h001 22lr. Just wondering if anyone can help me out with any ideas.
The red dot is something low profile like a doctor optic.

Why not mount it to the rimfire grooves on top of the receiver?
You can use adapters to go from rimfire to weaver if you want as well..... I bought some inexpensive adapters that clip into a bushnell trs 25 and it works great.
They come in pairs but you only need one,
