Henry 22lr Pump

i have one we use for youth shooting at our local rod& gun club the only quirk it has is shooting it from sand bags if the forestock is rested on a sandbag any shifting of the rifle results in a missfire i sent to the henrys canadian service center no change

I had one and liked it a lot... but my nephew liked it more... so it is living with him now... still have a GB and a Frontier Brass conversion;

Thanks for the input. Checking on the old utube think I'm going to hold off.

Quite a bit of coin for it, not sure if in the budget now but would be nice to add down the road.

Uberti silver boy (lever action) looks more my style if I'm going to spend that much on a 22.

I have the Henry Pump. Nice gun, very short pump stroke. Never had ammo issues. Very easy to load with my Speed D Loaders that I bought. I also have a Rossi gallery gun in a pump action, but I do like the Henry better. There is a dealer here on CGN that has a very good price on the Henry pump & has 2 in stock (North Bay). My other Henry .22s include the regular H001 lever, Mare's leg, Golden Boy, & AR7. You won't be sorry with the pump.

By the way, the Uberti Silverboy has sights I don't like (poor adjustability) and is quite expensive compared to a Henry. I have one of those as well.

Hope this helps. .02 cents worth. Like my Henrys!

I bought one new from sail and had issues with misfires. Brought it back and after two mess ups on sails part I finally got it back after 4 months. Works like a dream now. Even with the .22 shortage I still love shooting the lever action Henry. Just feels right.
