Henry firearms

It’s a manual repeater with a design that has lineage to 1860 chambered in a cartridge from the 1950s and produced by one of the most reputable companies in the industry… what issues are you expecting to hear?

Did you contact the Henry Warranty Center?

Or Anthony Imperato?
Yes but the fella at Grech was terrible to deal with. Tried contacting Henry’s customer support email and they turned me to him. I told them how bad he was and they just insisted that I deal with it.

I'm sorry to hear. John can be a little crusty at times. But you can catch more bee's with honey than you can with sh!t!.......:):ROFLMAO:

You have to work your way around John at times. I mean do not butt heads with him straight on, you will loose........:(

I have had one bad experience with him and five great experiences with him. Since he moved his business to New Brunswick, he has been way better to deal with.

I have called Anthony Imperato on that one occasion personally. He took my call and immediately resolved the issue.

If at first you do not succeed, try, try again. Do not ever take no for an answer if you are in the right and just want a warranty issue resolved.

As a retired dealer, I have had to deal with warranty for Savage, Chiappa, Mossberg, Henry, Winchester, Browning, Canuck, and few others I can't think of right now.

Just be assertive, polite, and never take no for an answer. Warranties exist for a reason......:)

When I bent a part on my Henry due to being a numb skull on re-assembly I called Henry direct. Told them what I did and asked how much was the part and price to ship etc They asked me if I had an American address and shipped me that part for free. This was a few years back but their customer service was great!

Henry's warranty and customer service is second to none......:)

I have a Boy Boy in 44, not a single problem, aside from the side loading gate biting my fingers, but I think this is symptomatic of side loading gates in general. Gun has otherwise been flawless.

I have seven other Henry levers, no issues.

Only issue I ever had with a Henry was the "Survival Rifle" (AR7) - which shot very, very high at short distances, despite any sight adjustments. Henry sent me a new barrel assembly and that took care of that problem (it took a month to get here, mostly being stuck at CBSA)

I would honestly buy any Henry, knowing that they are backed by a lifetime warranty, a warranty with which I have utilized.

I think the writing emails to Anthony Imperato is maybe a bit of a marketing schtick. I have written him twice, without response. The third time, apparently a VP said he was out of the country and said he would forward my correspondence (which just like my posts here are long) - didn't get a reply, and that's fine - no other President/CEO is expected to correspond with their customers. Doesn't change my view of the company.

Gretsch Outdoors - I think a lot of this in dealing with John is just like dealing with anyone else - be polite, professional, show some grace, and be solutions focused. Lots of people everywhere in life have differing personalities, and who knows what they are going through any particular day. Just be courteous and you should get it in return.
